ourhostingwillbesecure.online

On February 24, 2023, it was reported that Ourhostingwillbesecure.online is a deceptive and phishing website.

This website uses fake Facebook pages that look like the real thing, showing posts that claim a person has won a prize, with comments that falsely claim that previous winners have already received their rewards.

When a user clicks on the post, they are taken to a fake Walmart page that tells them they have won an iPad but must pay a small shipping fee to receive it.

However, once the user enters their credit card information, they end up getting charged various amounts for monthly memberships. Canceling the memberships is nearly impossible to achieve.

Missing Information

No business name
No contact page
No phone numbers
No reviews
No social media
Online advertisements and pop-ups promising users a reward or prize are likely fraudulent scams created to mislead the public. These notifications typically feature flashy visuals and advertise simple yet exciting benefits, and when clicked, they lead to fake-looking sites or landing pages. The visitor is then asked to provide their personal information or credit card details to cover a small fee or shipping charge, but sometimes, they are instead directed towards a payment form for a trial subscription where additional fees may be hidden. Disputes and cancelations of these subscriptions prove to be very difficult. Overall, it is wise for internet users to be on alert for any webpages advertising awards or prizes that require little effort.
