It claims to operate under the “trade name” AstroBoyBoots and is located at 5062 Lankershim Blvd, 1039, Los Angeles, CA 91601. However, no company with that name is registered in the state of California.

The website’s ownership is obscured through the use of a third-party privacy service, and the customer service phone number listed on the website is non-functional.

It has been noted in recent times that a spike in the number of scams arising from China has been observed. These alleged schemes are deployed via online stores constructed utilizing the behind-the-scenes services supplied by Alibaba, an international company. This fraud spells disaster for customers around the globe, most especially those situated in America, Canada, and the United Kingdom. The deception relies on constructing a replica of an actual, legitimate store, with its branding and visuals duplicated identically. However, prices of products are quoted at far lower rates than with existing (genuine) sites, thus enticing prospective buyers. The outcome of such a purchase typically results in either low-grade products sent to the customer or - in worst-case scenarios - criminal networks may pocket the acquired money without shipping the promised items. In addition, the perpetrators may also extract credit card details, which they use to carry out fraudulent transactions.
